FIG Exercise floor with springs 14x14m

A competition sprung gymnastics floor measuring 14 × 14 m and 20 cm high, with FIG certification under the testing parameters effective from January 2016. The construction comprises 2,359 springs, 77 panels measuring 200 × 125 cm and 7 panels measuring 200 × 25 cm. Above them are 98 high-stiffness polyethylene pieces with puzzle joints, each measuring 200 × 100 × 5.2 cm. The surface consists of 7 gymnastics carpets measuring 1,400 × 200 × 1.5 cm. Panels are joined using flexible plastic strips 5 mm thick and hook-and-loop strips. The carpets are connected with double-sided hook-and-loop tape 6 cm wide. Stabilisers run around the entire perimeter, along with decorative and advertising banners. For permanent installation in a gymnastics hall, an optional securing system helps reduce movement of the entire floor.
